Her first big screen appearance was in My
Stepmother is an Alien. She landed the starring role as Dan
Aykroyd’s daughter, Jessie Mills. Alyson was fourteen
years old. Her sympathetic portrayal of Jessie eventually
earned her additional guest and starring roles in various
movie and television productions including Picket Fences,
Roseanne, Touched by an Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer
where she plays a shy wallflower who becomes Buffy’s
friend .
